There is a category for everyone and children’s and senior’s sections. Pick up your entry form at the Village Office. (Printable Copy ) Soeveryone. (No entry fee) 10am-11am Story Time @ Salisbury Public Library - Felt stories, Puppet Show, and Crafts (FREE)11am-3pm Kids Day @ Boys & Girls Club - BBQ, Games, & Fun (FREE) There will be water games, so comeprepared to get wet. This is a joint effort of the Lions, Lioness, Pool Staff, andthe Boys & Girls Club. 11:30-12:30 Al Bernard’s Magic Show @ Boys & Girls Club - Come to the Club and join Al Bernard fora magic show before lunch! (FREE) 2pm Deadline for Poster Contest @ Fire Hall - Make a poster with this year’s theme. You can draw, paint,or use pictures from a magazine. Posters should be no smaller than 8 ½ x 11 and no larger than poster board. Be sure to drop off your poster at the Exhibit Hall before 1pm for judging. Entries will be displayed at the Exhibit Show. 4:30pm Salisbury United Church Supper @ United Church - Home Baked Beans, Ham, Potato Salad,Rolls, and Dessert. Corner of Fredericton Rd & Kay St.8am-12pm Village Wide Yard Sales - We encourage anyone holding a yard sale to contact us with your information so 9am-3pm Yard Sale @ Masonic Lodge - Accepting donations to be sold in the yard sale with all proceeds to go tothe Masonic Lodge. (FREE) Lego sets will be available for purchase. 11am Parade Line up @ Elementary School Parking Lot -All entries wishing to be judged must register and be lined up before 11:00 am. 12pm Parade (Regular Parade Route) Please note, for safety reasons, through traffic on Main Street andRiver Road will be stopped for the length of the parade. (Rain or Shine) - Parade Organizers request that candy NOT be thrown from floats, in order to avoid possible injury to children that are gathering goodies. Food Stands Along Douglas Street - Local groups & organizations are welcome to run food stands as a fundraiser. (Directly After Parade) Pig Roast* Come try some pig on a bun! To celebrate our Hawaiian theme we will be roasting a pig and serving a slice on a bun with a drink for $6. All money raised will help cover the associated costs. Taekwondo Demo* All belt levels demonstrating all aspects of Taekwondo including board breaking,weapons, and self defence. Association of 8th Canadian Hussar’s Pipes & Drums* - Mini Concert 1pm-4pm Reptile Show* (There will be various shows throughout the afternoon) Snakes, lizards, and other reptiles.(FREE) Face Painting* (FREE) Various Information Booths* Petting Zoo* (FREE)Be Smart Be Safe* Drivers come check out the DUMB Car. Auction Starts at 10:30pm.Sunday, August 22nd Noon Gospel Music, Awards, & BBQ Picnic @ Highland Park - Come and enjoy music, food, and funat our beautiful Village park. Entrance off Highland Drive/Gordon Street/Chad Crescent.
